What we collect
- Account info — name, email, profile photo, and how you sign in.
- Listings & bookings — items you post, dates, messages, and reviews.
- Approximate location — we geocode the address you provide for a listing, then jitter it by 250–450 meters before storing it. Your exact address is never saved or shown publicly.
- Usage data — basic logs and analytics needed to keep the service running and safe.
How we use it
To run the marketplace: show your listings to potential borrowers, let people message you about bookings, surface reviews, prevent fraud, and improve the product. We don't sell your data.
Who can see what
Your public profile (name, photo, reviews) is visible to other signed-in users. Listings are visible to anyone browsing the site. Direct messages are visible only to you and the other party. Your email is never shown to other users.
Who we share with
Infrastructure providers that help us run the service (hosting, database, maps, email). They process data on our behalf and aren't allowed to use it for their own purposes.
Your rights
You can edit or delete your profile, listings, and account at any time from your dashboard. Email us if you'd like a copy of your data or want help with deletion.
